Project Overview and Challenges:
- This project involved diverting the existing public passageway to enable the construction of the new Indigo Hotel at Terminal 2. The works were carried out within a live, fully operational environment, as the surrounding car park areas remained open 24 hours a day.
- One of the main challenges was the need to divert underground services and install multiple M&E systems along the active driveway without disrupting traffic flow or public access. Safety was a top priority, and all activities were carefully planned and executed according to real-time car park traffic conditions.
Due to the operational constraints, most diversion and hoisting works could only be performed during a limited nightly window of just 2 to 3 hours. - Despite the tight working schedule and complex site conditions, our team successfully completed and handed over the project within the required deadline.
