Scope of works: ACMV, Electrical, Fire Protection and Security Systems.
Project Overview and Challenges:
- This project involved the addition and alteration works for an existing retail unit, focusing on ACMV (air conditioning, mechanical, and ventilation), electrical systems, fire protection, and security systems.
- One of the key challenges was the distribution of air conditioning via ducting, which was complicated by existing congested areas and the requirement that only 100% rigid ducting be used, limiting flexibility and requiring careful planning.
- The retail area design was inspired by Chinese traditional concepts, necessitating extensive efforts in lighting design and selection to achieve the desired aesthetic and ambiance, while integrating all M&E systems seamlessly.
