Scope of works: Air-conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation, IBMS, Electrical, ELV, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary Systems, Flight Info Display System and Security Systems.
Project Overview and Challenges:
- This project involved designing and building a staff lounge designated for airport staff working airside. The lounge was equipped with M&E services to support 24/7 operation and included a dedicated smoking room, ensuring compliance with airport airside requirements.
- Construction was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused delays and disruptions. After the circuit-breaker measures were lifted, we re-mobilized our team to resume work, complete the installation, and ensure all operational requirements were met.
- Despite the challenges, we successfully completed the project and handed it over to our client, providing a functional and compliant space for airport staff to rest and recharge.
